50 Years Of Care For Detroit Residents
Since 1967, St. Francis Nursing Center has been a guiding light and second home to elderly residents of Detroit. The facility’s focus on delivering advanced nursing care and rehabilitation services, and its longstanding commitment to the local community, has earned it recognition as a US News Best nursing home in Detroit.
I was a resident at St. Francis Nursing Care Center from September 2015 to July 2016. I would like to thank all the staff for all that they did to help me get on the right track. Their activist department was great. Princess, Darnell and Michelle went above and beyond their duties. I would especially like to thank Ms. Val Craig. She had an open door policy. Every time I needed anything or had an issue, she was there. She was compassionate, nice, friendly, down to earth and professional, and always followed through on whatever my needs were at the time. I would, and will, recommend this facility to anyone in need of nursing care.
Our nursing home has achieved one of the goals of the National Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative (NNHQCC): achieving a quality measure (QM) composite score of 6.00 or less.
