Our nursing home has achieved one of the goals of the National Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative (NNHQCC): achieving a quality measure (QM) composite score of 6.00 or less.
The QM composite score is comprised of 13 publicly reported, long-stay measures that represent processes and interrelated systems of care within the long-term care setting. The data for the QM composite score is derived from the QIES Workbench/MDS data.
In 2013, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services developed the QM composite score to monitor NNHQCC progress at the national, Quality Improvement Network-Quality Improvement Organization, and nursing home levels. They noted that the top 10 percent of nursing homes had achieved a QM composite Score of 6.00 or less; therefore it was established as a benchmark for other nursing homes to achieve.
We are so proud of this achievement and look forward to continuously improving our quality of care!
